It was Faith's birthday that we were invited for a dinner,ala boodle fight.I was hearing about it a long time ago since I joined the Welcare team but wasn't really clear about how it will look like.

First day of work

Feels like I am a freshman going on a new school with no familiar faces on the site.It is a very odd feeling considering that I transferred to a very big hospital,after I resigned from a polyclinic.

The atmosphere wad kind off nauseous,I was asked to reprt at 9am,but arrived at the workplace at 8:45,then went straight to the HR Department as instructed.

How I spend my day without work

I sometimes wake up early,but it depends on what time i slept.My usual routine is to check my phone,my ipad,and read the daily bread.

Then,snuggle with my pillow.

Dubai life is very fast and I must say,routinary.It depends on how you want to spend it.Some spend time on shopping,while others go to the beach.Me,sometimes i prefer go just stay home,fix my things and later on go for a night run.

December 2014,Ron proposed to me

My life lately has been so fast phased that I have been juggling yet enjoying it.

It was December 17 when Ron,my boyfriend for a year had proposed to me over the pristine waters and white sands of the Maldives...

Who would have thought that from a simple anticipation of a vacation,comes an unbelievable reality.

What made it more special was he made a different strategy at that proposal,can you nake a guess?

Yes,he proposed.,.with an invitation on his hand,asking me if "I would attend to our wedding...".

Boracay...still one of my favorites

This place might be overrated to many,but Boracay still stands as one of my favorite places on earth.

Why?Been to the beautiful paradise twice,first with a friend(yes,me and my girl friend explored the island,just the two of us) and second,since i fell in love with the place,influences my friends at work,and we did it,I the second time around.

First,i am always in love with the beach,modesty aside,I think I lost count in counting how many swimmies(swimsuits) I have.Because I like collecting it,and honestly I fell good when I wear swimsuits.To give you a good idea of my swimsuits,I have 50something in Pinas and have 70 something here in Dubai.And i am keeping in,the weirdo in me has some idea that soon i will buy a cabinet to display all my swimsuits,of course,that will be one to be included in my walk-in closet.

So there goes my love for the beach,because when your at the beach,you also have to have fashion sense.:-)

Second,I love walking in the sand,and when you talk about the sands of Boracay,it is indeed incomparable as it serves like baby powder,polvoron at its best,very pure,pristine and white.

Third,i love the crowd in Boracay,when you say fashion,even at night it will be about fashion.You will see people roaming around in their maxis,walking around and flaunting their bikini bodies.Fashionable couples wearing couople shirts and even models aroaming around as if they don't care.

Now I too felt that sam feeling that I went into my nerves walking around escaping the noisy surroundings of the city.

Writing at 4

As a mom, the last thing that you wanna hear when you are homeschooling is the word "discouragement". Of course, teaching and at the same time being a mom is not easy, but day by day, I am getting used to the techniques(first is don't let her cry or it will ruin the class '-)). 

Roni is an independent minded child, she speaks her mind, and wants to play at all times.Remember,we do not allow her to use gadgets for a long because we wanted her to play. And then, when she is playing, we wanted her to study. The irony of it. 

So well, as days pass by, she enjoyed all our activities especially when I give praises to her, appreciation really matters. It changes her mood. 

She is very good in memorizing stories and vocabulary words, matching type and story telling. I discover plenty of gifts from my daughter that it amazes me seeing her everyday with a new learning. Though she is still shy at times, and I could say got the introvert side of me. She says hi to everyone but sometimes complain that she doesn't want to say hi at all times.,which I honor. 

One of her latest achievements is her handwriting which at first, she finds difficult, but now, she can write it in letters(as mommy dictates it). I was just in awe that a 4 year old can learn that fast over the months of homeschooling her. 

Note:We have to to do homeschooling because of the Covid 19 pandemic which I will later discuss with another blog.
