Its time

I intentionally did not post anything about my last  days and send-off moments from my Mediclinic WCH family because I want to include these moments in my gratitude list for 2019.

First, finally deciding to stop working is not easy. I have been in the lab scene for the past 19 years of my life. 12 years in the Philippines and 7 years in UAE. But then.. I have the joy of motherhood. I want to take part on all the stages of my daughter's life while she is still young... needy and,all mommy and daddy. For I know the time will come that she will be independent just what we taught her to be, and she will need less of us. And she will decide on her own.She will be grown up.She will start school, and I wanna be with her every step of her way. As a mom, given the privelege to do that is gift from heaven that I am most grateful for.

I thank God for making me realize that its not all about material stuff and career. There is more to womanhood than that. And taking another leap is what makes a woman stronger.

In a year or two, I will still hold the lens of the microscope. And more things are brewing.

As part of my appreciation post for the year 2019,let me thank my WCH family for all the clever things that I have learned from you. Special mention to our Dear Doctor CSM whom I have learned a lot, the smartest brain that I have worked with. Intelligent conversation is a must. He  is brilliant. Those brains are really unique. Thanks Doc, working with you is such an honor. And having you said it, that I can still come back anytime is a treasure to keep. The annoyance, and the arguments is just a norm in the lab. You still keep that humane side of yours by always asking about my daughter. You maintain the composed side of the lab by working quietly and diligently.

Next is to all my co-staff in the lab. With a brilliant boss comes the brilliance of the subordinates. But that is not all, there is friendship and camaraderie. There is laughter and there is relationship.

My gratitude.

I am now sharing the touching message of our head Pathologist and our last week and farewell party in WCH.For I know that its not only work that lives in us... We have the commitment to serve. We are the silent profession aiding in the most accurate diagnosis for the patients. Cheers to all the lab peeps!

My little Ballerina

My daughter started ballet lessons and I am so happy how she loves it.

Little things... Big impact

I haven't stopped decluttering and this part was from my unused clothes for the past 2 years that I have been returning to my closet, thinking that I can use it again... But no...

I have donated it in the donation box... Where they can sell it and donate to the NGOs and charities.

A walk at the small park

Turns out that she mostly enjoy a simple routine like walking in the small park behind our building.

October morning

It is the start of waking up a little late because the weather starts to get better.
And Roni is still dreaming.. :-)

Good morning anak ko.

Even the flash of the camera did not wake her up.
